Camp Patton-Andersson

If there's one thing we love, it's a hilarious writer. If there's two things we love (and let's just be greedy and call it three) then it's a hilarious writer with a wonderful family and amazing hair. Grace Patton, author of the ever-amusing blog Camp Patton, is all of these things and more.

A mom to four kids under the age of five and wife to a dashing OB-GYN, this St. Louis resident and former highschool English teacher, is serious BFF crush material. Lady's got a good 'tude and a killer sense of humor that we can only imagine is crucial when being outnumbered by toddlers 4 to 1.

To quickly sum herself up, Patton writes: "Grace enjoys writing in the third person. She loves walking diapers outside to the big trashcan multiple times a day and inhaling prenatal gummies. She likes her births medicated and her Hulu extra trashy."

We like her. So we sent her some new clothes from our just-launched Love, Hanna women's line plus some of our favorite fall looks for her kids (and a cute bright baby basics outfit for little Phoebe, born April 23rd!) See her whole post on Camp Patton here (plus she's doing a giveaway!).

Are they not the cutest?! And no, it's not creepy that we hyphenated our names together...

Head over to Camp Patton for a spell and then come back to thank us for introducing you to your new imaginary bestie!

And for the record, Grace is wearing Love, Hanna (shop here), and the rest of the camp is all in Hanna Andersson as well (shop here, along with our new bright baby basics line).

That Cabin Life

Summer vacation can mean a lot of different things, depending on where you live. For us in the PNW (Pacific Northwest if ya hadn't heard), we're lucky to have access to pretty much the gamut of landscapes. Mountains, forests, deserts and the ocean (although our beaches are called "coasts" for a reason...brrrr!) are all within a few hours drive.

As it goes however, we always seem to prefer a good 'ole fashioned cabin trip in the woods. Basically because it's all the outdoor fun you can handle with the luxury of still sleeping indoors! Win/win.

Up north in Canada, the clan of Adventures in Pinksugarland similarly enjoy escaping to the cabin life now and again. For their latest trip, we sent them a care package of our latest jammies so they could relax it up hanna-style.

Just looking at these makes us want to unplug and head in to the wild woods for a pj-themed cabin party! See more Adventures in Pinksugarland here (seriously, mom Andrea is such an amazing photographer! We're always inspired by her work.)

Mod Nursery Inspiration

As a major children's decor and design aficionado, Lauren Hufnagl, of A Lovely Lark, is one of our go-to's when we're looking for inspiration of the wee persuasion. Her nursery idea boards are always so gosh darn pinnable and on-point (she seriously finds the coolest stuff!).

Here are a couple our faves:

As part of our Bright Baby Basics launch, Lauren created a seriously COLOR-HAPPY nursery board inspired by our line that's just as fun and friendly as can be! We're in love. Can you imagine what a happy place this would be for a baby?

The modern light wood punctuated with vibrant pops of color feels so fresh and carefree without being overstimulating. You can see more of Lauren's boards over on her blog (and follow her on instagram @alovelylark for adorable pics of her sweet family!)
